نبهت وزارة الفلاحة والموارد المائية والصيد البحري، في بلاغ أصدرته الجمعة، أن مرض الحمى المالطية مرض معدي يصيب الحيوانات وخاصة الماشية ويمكن أن ينتقل إلى الإنسان عن طريق الاتصال المباشر بحيوان مريض أو باستهلاك الحليب الطازج غير المعالج حراريا ومشتقاته مثل « الرايب واللبن ».
ولذلك تنبه الوزارة إلى خطورة استهلاك الحليب المجهول المصدر وغير معالج حراريا وتنصح باقتناء المنتجات المتأتية من مؤسسات متحصلة على المصادقة الصحية البيطرية. والتي تجدون قائمة فيها على موقع وزارة الفلاحة والموارد المائية والصيد البحري على الرابط التالي:
